In the 7th of the artist readings at Ka, academician and researcher Mine Özyurt Kılıç reads Ursula K. Le Guin, who is considered one of the most important writers of science fiction and fantasy literature, based on a selection of her works.
The event will be held in Turkish.
Mine Özyurt Kılıç shares her works focusing on women and authorship, motherhood, representations of home and domestic life, fantastic theories in literature, empathy and literature, modernist and contemporary world literature in various forms at the national and international level. She is the editor of "A Press of One's Own", the centennial celebration event of Hogarth Press, founded by Virginia and Leonard Woolf in their home, with Nana Ariel; is also among the founders of "Virginia Woolf Studies Initiative in Turkey" with Demet Karabulut Dede.
